Carlos Nader drives the streets crowded in a bulletproof Mercedes-Benz equipped with cayenne pepper and a 120-decibel alarm.
He had the balls bounce off the coast of the car and once discouraged an attacker blasting his alarm, which is also that of a Jet engine.
Nader knows that his car makes a target of kidnappers and thieves in a country that has an "alarming" speed hijacking cars and ransom kidnappings, according to the u.s. Department of State. Mexico, these days, "everyone is a target," said Nader, owner of Protecto Glass International, a company vehicle armor.
