Resolved Question: bulletproof vests?

For the protection of gun is important to know that the level II-A, level II and level III-all stop the vast majority of PISTOL bullets that are ever likely to encounter (plus 12 gauge, buckshot OO) and also know that the waistcoat is never 100% bulletproof conceivable in all circumstances.

Yes it is legal for you to possess a vest in your State, however these garments are not the most comfortable thing in your closet. Wear personally a level II Extreme vest. Depending on your situation that you probably just need a level II, a level II will be much lighter than a level III or III, will be cheaper and will provide protection from most laps of small arms. Of course with a vest your not going to protect yourself from automatic weapon fire but thought I would put that out there.
